For when you just want it to work — and you want someone to explain what they did when it does. No jargon, no condescension, no rushing.
If you've worked with techs before and walked away no smarter than when they arrived, this part is for you.
Before I touch anything, I tell you what I think is wrong and what I'm planning to do about it. After it's fixed, I walk you through what happened — in normal words. If a term needs to be technical, I'll define it. You should leave the visit knowing more than when I arrived.
If you want me to slow down so you can take notes, I slow down. If you want to watch what I'm doing on the screen, you watch. If you want me to write down the password I just changed, I write it down. There's no clock ticking against you.
After every visit, you get a short written summary: what was wrong, what I changed, what to watch for. So if something acts up again three months from now, you (or whoever helps you) has a record of what's been done — no detective work, no starting from scratch.
If yours isn't on this list, call anyway — most of what I do is "I don't know what this is, can you look at it?"
Easily the most common reason people call. Sometimes it's hardware, more often it's settings or cleanup. I'll tell you which after looking.
Outlook stopped checking, Gmail's asking for a password it didn't used to, you got a new device and can't get your mail on it. This is a regular call.
Locked out of Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, your bank. Recovery is often possible — sometimes complicated, but usually doable.
The most universal home tech frustration. I'll get it printing again and explain why it stopped — usually so you can fix the next time yourself.
Either one spot in the house, or the whole house, or just one device. Each one has a different cause. We'll find which.
Out-of-box setup, transferring files from the old one, getting your email and bookmarks moved, removing the junk apps that come pre-installed. Usually one visit.
If you're not sure whether something is legitimate, ask. Five-minute call. No charge for the question.
Maybe nothing's actually wrong. Maybe something is. Either way I'll look and tell you, and there's no charge if nothing needs fixing.
A normal visit, from start to finish.
Tell me what's going on in your own words — no need for technical detail. If I need more info, I'll ask. We'll find a time the same day or the next.
You don't have to unplug the computer, carry it anywhere, or wait three days for a drop-off shop. I show up at your home with everything I need.
I look at the problem and tell you what I think it is and what it'll cost. If you want to think about it, that's fine — there's no charge for the visit if you decide not to proceed.
While I work, you can watch, take notes, or do something else entirely. I'll explain as I go if you want to follow along.
Before I leave, you get a plain-English summary of what was wrong and what I changed. I'll answer any questions, and you get a written note with the key details.
If the same issue comes back within 40 days, I fix it again, free of charge.
Whether you call me for a slow computer or for help understanding what your grandkid did to your laptop, the pricing is the same as every other service — published, flat, no surprises. Explanation is included. There's no charge for walking you through what I did, no charge for answering follow-up questions, and no charge for a visit that doesn't result in a fix.
Available Monday through Saturday, 8am – 8pm. Same-day appointments when possible. I'll get back to you the same day either way.
Serving Fort Worth, Saginaw, Lake Worth, Haslet, Keller, and surrounding areas.
