Wyly IT — Small Business

Your IT Department.
Without the hire.

Most small businesses don't need a full-time IT person. They need someone who keeps things running and answers same day when something breaks. And now the IRS, the FTC, and insurance carriers expect security paperwork most small offices don't have. I handle both, without seat minimums or a corporate contract.

Sound familiar?

The tech problems small businesses deal with every week.

Nobody to call

When the Wi-Fi drops or a computer won't start, there's no IT person on staff — just Google and crossed fingers.

Staff can't work

Every hour your team spends fighting technology is an hour they're not doing their job. It adds up fast.

Surprise repair bills

Break/fix IT means unpredictable costs. One bad month can cost more than a full year of support would have.

Compliance you didn't sign up for

Tax offices, car lots that arrange financing, insurance agencies, medical practices: federal rules now require a written security program from all of them. Most find out when an insurer or an audit letter asks for it.

Flat monthly support.

Know exactly what IT costs every month. One flat number, every month. Annual plans available at a discount.

Regulated business?
Compliance packages, flat fee.

If federal rules require a written security program from your business, I build it standalone. A complete IRS-ready WISP for tax offices from $1,500. Full FTC Safeguards programs for dealers and agencies from $2,500. One-time fee, quoted up front. No monthly plan required.

$1,500 Starting at

Built for the offices
the big MSPs skip.

Most managed IT companies want 10–15 computers minimum before they'll talk to you. My clients are the offices they turn away.

Tax preparers & CPA firms

The IRS now requires a written security plan (WISP) from every PTIN holder, and checks for it at renewal. What that means for you →

Auto dealers & insurance agencies

If you arrange financing or handle customer financial data, the FTC Safeguards Rule treats you like a bank. What that means for you →

Medical, dental & veterinary

HIPAA's security requirements are getting stricter. "We meant to get to it" has never been a defense.

Law offices & real estate

Client files, closings, and email are the whole business. When those stop, everything stops.

Contractors & home services

Downtime costs you jobs. I keep your office tech, quoting, and scheduling systems running.

Everyone else with 3–30 computers

Churches, shops, nonprofits, trades. If technology is in the way of your work, that's my problem to fix.

Why a local IT guy
beats a big contract.

I'm Hayden Wyly, a Fort Worth native with over 10 years in IT support — including six years keeping K–12 schools running. Schools have hundreds of devices, tight budgets, and zero tolerance for downtime. Small business IT isn't that different.

When you're on a monthly plan, I learn your setup, your staff, and your workflow, whether you're in Fort Worth, Weatherford, Granbury, Burleson, or anywhere in between. When something goes wrong I already know your network, your machines, and what matters most to your business — every call picks up where the last one left off.

One person. One phone number. The same technician who knows your office, your equipment, and your team. On-site, same day.

No contracts

Month-to-month. Cancel anytime, no questions asked.

One person

The same technician every time. Direct relationship, direct line.

Local

Fort Worth west to Weatherford. On-site fast when you need it.

10+ years

IT experience across K–12 and residential support.

Compliance-fluent

FTC Safeguards, IRS WISP, HIPAA. Audit-ready paperwork so you don't think about it.

Common Questions

Straight answers before you pick up the phone.

What's a WISP and do I actually need one? +

A Written Information Security Plan: a document describing how your business protects customer data. If you prepare taxes, you attest to having one when you renew your PTIN. If you're a dealer or agency under the FTC Safeguards Rule, it's the core requirement. And most cyber-insurance carriers now ask for it before they'll quote or pay a claim. I build it, standalone or as part of a plan. Details →

Do you really have no seat minimum? +

Really. Three computers is a fine-sized client. Plans are priced flat, so a five-person office isn't paying corporate rates.

What if I just want the compliance piece, not monthly IT? +

That works. WISP and Safeguards packages are available standalone with a one-time setup fee and optional low monthly maintenance. Plenty of clients start there and add a support plan later.

How far do you travel? +

My service area runs from north Fort Worth west through Aledo, Willow Park, Hudson Oaks, and Weatherford, and south through Benbrook, Burleson, Granbury, and Cleburne. On-site, no trip fee inside the service area.
